It has become my second nature to worship Him both in seasons of blessings and in the valley. We have chosen to look for God, lean into Him, trusting Him, and seeking Him, and in seeking Him we experience His presence powerfully.Įven though it is a choice to give thanks and worship, for me, I can’t imagine living this life any other way. My point is, we are not new to trials or suffering and through it all, we have chosen to praise our Father in Heaven for keeping us in His hands. Most of you are aware of our recent loss through a miscarriage at 3 months, but what many might not know is of the many other life tragedies, struggles, and even spiritual attacks we have endured and fought over the last eighteen years. On my most days, you could walk into our home filled with music either blasting while we work and dance, or faintly gracing the ambiance with a peace that is inspired by songs of praise.īut when tragedy, trial, or turmoil hits, what then? It has become a part of our family culture to sing with all our being as we drive around town–yes we look like a CRAZY car with nine people praising the Lord, but it’s a God-glorifying crazy. Those who know our family intimately know how much music, specifically worship is a part of the lifeblood in our family.
